LSS Another Door

Another Door provides emergency housing for young adults ages 18-24. It offers private rooms in a safe, dignified setting with access to bus lines, parks, and close to UMD and St Scholastica. It is staffed 24 hours a day. Case managers and other shelter staff are available to help with housing navigation, life skills development, and helping to achieve health, educational and employment goals. Another Door was made possible through collaboration between Chum, Peace Church and Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota, with generous support from the State of Minnesota, St Louis County and private donors.  The community can help support this project and its residents by purchasing bedding, hygiene, kitchen and art supplies, or by making a financial contribution to cover the costs of construction.
