Do you live, work or worship in the in the East Hillside near Peace Church? Join us August 2 to learn more about a Shelter Next project being planned for the church property to provide support for young adults experiencing homelessness. The event will take place from 6:30-7:30pm at Peace Church (1111 N 11th Ave E). A brief presentation will be followed by Q&A. Representatives from Stepping On Up Lutheran Social Service, Peace Church, and city and county partners will be available to answer questions.
This project is the first of Stepping On Up's Phase II developments.
Ending homelessness is an all-in effort, and a welcoming and engaged neighborhood increases the chances that housing and shelter projects will be successful. Join us to learn more about the project, ask questions, and help us ensure that this project is a win-win for neighbors, new and old.
